You know your friend who can mimic anyone so well you piss yourself?

That’s Kyle Dunnigan, only Kyle Dunnigan’s better than your friend.

Still, for a guy whose Instagram is rife with gut-busting impressions, it’s impossible to pin down his style of humour. He’ll give you a perfect Trump or a spot-on Joe Biden (allusions to senility and all), and he’ll do it with eerie nuance. Same goes for his Caitlyn Jenner and Sylvester Stallone and New York state Governor Cuomo.

But impersonations are his aperitifs, and his resume reflects a the work of an industry vet; The American writer and actor penned four season’s worth of a hit sketch show (read: Inside Amy Schumer, 2013 - 2016) and won an Emmy for it, he’s slung jokes on all the big late nighters — from Conan O’Brien to Craig Ferguson to Seth Meyers — and he’s a regular on Howard Stern’s radio program.

If that last one doesn’t give it away, Dunnigan cares not for who he offends, be it the left, right, your parents, special education teachers or Bill Maher himself; No joke, Mr. Maher sounded every bit of butthurt when podcast king, Joe Rogan, pressed him on watching Dunnigan’s deadly impression of the HBO star on Rogan’s show last year, just watch.

Like few funnymen today, Dunnigan knows the harshest, yet most beautiful of comedic truths: Just because one’s offended, doesn’t mean one’s right.

That, and leverage the shit out of social media for laughs.

There’s plenty more to say about this guy, but few words compare to watching him in full flight, so just do that.

Happy Tuesday.
